It was one of those magical summer events. The wind was balmy as I walked home early one morning. The sky was lush black and the stars were magnificent.

I came to the foot of a hill, and in a clear space above towering spruce trees was this magnificent Moon. Full of Light. Full of Glory. Full of Understanding. Soft and butter golden.

It made me think of Mother, her Mother. All Women. My Family. The World and Universe.

It made me think of journeys, individual or as a group. Leaving one place in a night journey lit by the Grace of the Moon. I danced. Danced, unaware of anyone else, when I was greeted by another reveler.

I was surprised by one of my daughters, another early morning wanderer, and we danced to The Moon in celebration together.

Then we walked home, hand in hand, happily content.
