There is a Time in everyone's life that difficult or life-changing decisions must be made. When one has to sometimes step through a metaphysical doorway to change one's course of life.
To leave the old world behind in hopes of a better new. A better you.
A woman flees.
Right hand upturned, warding off enticements and threats of those who pursue her. Those who would imprison her; Mind, Body or Soul.
In deliberate haste she throws down her hairbrush.
Her mirror; she keeps.
It reflects glimpses of her trailing, lumbering opponent; as it attempts to entice her with empty gifts and promises. Her light flashing mirror, aimed now at its eyes, is now a weapon. Used as a last defence, a quick smash to her opponent’s head.
Magic swirls around her but she must be aware of where she flees, to be careful not to race into the unseen flames that lie before her.
She dances a continuous, delicate dance.
